U.S. Senate
Senate Majority Leader and four-term incumbent, Cornyn has delivered results for Texas on flood relief, border security, mental health funding, and veterans benefits. His seniority gives Texas outsized influence in Washington — he has chaired the Senate Finance Committee and the NRSC, and maintains a strong conservative voting record aligned with the Trump agenda. Cornyn led the 13-candidate primary field with approximately 42% of the vote.
Incumbent Senate Majority Leader Border security VeteransTwo-term Texas Attorney General who filed over 200 lawsuits against the Biden administration on border, energy, and election policy, building a national profile as a conservative warrior. Acquitted in a 2023 Senate impeachment trial, Paxton argues his willingness to fight federal overreach and his strong grassroots base make him the better fit for Washington. Paxton finished a close second at approximately 41%.

Attorney General
Texas State Senator from Galveston and businessman who is one of the most consistently conservative members of the Texas Senate. Middleton championed the state's anti-ESG legislation, fought vaccine mandates, and led the Senate border-security caucus. He self-funded heavily and led the primary field with approximately 39%, ahead in recent polling heading into the runoff.

Roy blocked congressional spending, demanded conservative accountability in Washington, and argues his direct prosecutorial and legislative experience make him ready on day one as AG. Roy finished second with approximately 32%.

Incumbent Railroad Commissioner and former oil-and-gas attorney with deep expertise in Texas energy regulation. Wright has focused on strengthening grid reliability following Winter Storm Uri and supports Texas energy independence from federal interference. He edged into the runoff in an extremely close five-way race with approximately 32% of the vote.

Criminal defense and appellate attorney with experience before Texas courts who led the primary field with approximately 35%. Fox argues her broad courtroom background — including defense work — gives her a well-rounded perspective for Texas's court of last resort in criminal matters.

State Board of Education — District 12
Incumbent SBOE member and former Lewisville ISD educator with decades of classroom experience. Little has served multiple terms on the board and prioritizes rigorous academics, parental transparency in curriculum, and local control over education decisions. She led the primary with approximately 36% and is in this runoff for the second consecutive cycle.

Former Texas Public Policy Foundation staffer and school-choice advocate challenging the incumbent for the second time — Little defeated Kohlmann in the 2024 runoff as well. Backed by school-voucher supporters, Kohlmann argues the SBOE needs stronger action on curriculum transparency and education freedom. She finished second with approximately 27%.

Trump-endorsed North Texas businessman and community leader who led a nine-candidate Republican primary with nearly 49% of the vote. After runner-up Ryan Binkley withdrew before the runoff, Yarbrough became the automatic GOP nominee for this newly redrawn, Republican-leaning district.
