Effective date: September 7, 2025

Collin County Precinct 125 Republicans (“we,” “our,” or “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, your choices and rights, and how to contact us. We operate as a local political precinct organization. While nonprofit organizations are generally exempt from the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act (TDPSA), we voluntarily adopt the practices and consumer rights described below for transparency and trust.

We do not intentionally collect or process sensitive personal data (including precise geolocation or biometric data). We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child provided us personal data, please contact us to remove it. We already do not sell personal data or use it for targeted advertising.

How to Exercise Your Rights

Verification: We will verify your identity using reasonable methods (for example, matching the email or phone you used to sign up). We will respond within 45 days of receiving your request and may extend once by up to 45 days if reasonably necessary; if extended, we will notify you within the initial 45-day period with the reason.

Appeals: If we decline to act on your request, you may appeal by replying to our decision email with “Appeal” in the subject or calling the number above. We will respond to appeals within 60 days and explain our decision. If denied, we will provide a link to contact the Texas Attorney General.

Authorized agents & browser signals: We honor valid opt-out signals sent by an authorized agent or supported browser/device setting (Universal Opt-Out Mechanism) where applicable under Texas law. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect personal data. No system is perfectly secure; please contact us immediately if you believe your account or data has been compromised.
